Why we are making these videos
Adults who discover they are autistic often receive limited support afterwards.
Finding good information after that takes a lot of work. It comes at a point when most people have very little energy spare.
A lot of the information online is about autistic children. A lot of it is from other countries, so the advice does not apply in the UK. Some of it is made by people with no relevant qualification, and it is hard to tell which.
What we are making
We are making a range of short videos for the first year after someone discovers they are autistic.
They cover things like understanding an assessment report, telling the people close to you, asking for changes at work, and what to do when it feels worse rather than better.

The videos will be free. There will be no account to set up. Nobody will need to prove a diagnosis.

- Adults who think they are autistic and have not sought a diagnosis
- Partners, family, friends and colleagues of autistic people
Where we are now
We are finalising the setup of the Community Interest Company.
We are building a network of autistic adults, specialists and organisations to help shape what we make.
We will then decide which topics to cover first.
